I get that it isn’t literally K23 (beet pollen, anyone? lol) but you’ve absolutely created the embodiment of K23; when i put it on i smell incense and flowers and resins and i know it’s exactly how Kudra smelled when she was up to her elbows doing what she loved.

Although i’ll never stop hoping that someday, somehow, someone will create the Jitterbug Perfume version of K23, you’ve made me happier than I ever thought possible, by giving me a touch of Kudra’s essence.

Anticipation was half the thrill after placing my order with Jitterbug Perfumes. When the package arrived, the burst of bright colors and the charming little extras made unpackaging a pure joy.

The entire experience, paired with my delightful lemon scent, created a vibe that was nothing short of magical. Now, every time I roll the perfume on my wrists, I’m captivated by how the fragrance evolves with my mood and the day.

I recently received my essential oil blends from Jitterbug and I can’t RAVE enough about these scents. But let me start with a little about the process . . . Emily asked me about what kinds of scents move me. What comforting olfactory memories do I hold dear? I gave her a list of several perfumes I’ve loved over the years so that she could get a sense for what kinds of notes I prefer.

A couple of weeks later, these sweet, perfect little roller-ball topped vials arrived in the mail. They were all individually packaged and sealed up so professionally, I was impressed right off the bat! I excitedly tore open the sealed envelope for the vial called Naked. I knew that this was modeled off my all time favorite Memorie Liquide Nudité Absolue.

When I first rolled it on my wrists, I almost cried - I never thought I’d find this long-discontinued scent again! The Jitterbug Perfumes version is super close to the original. Maybe a little more sweet - it could use a tiny drop or two of a sandalwood or something woody to tone it down. But over time, the scent warms up and mellows out nicely and is so, so nice. And it lasts so long, too!

The other two viles she created for me are an Amber Oud, which is warm, just a little smokey and has beautiful notes of tobacco and nutmeg. The third scent is a variation of a Kitten, but I have to admit that I’ve only worn it once because I’ve been so into the other two. It might be a little too marshmallow forward for me, but I need to let it warm up and settle in for a bit before giving it a true review. The bottom line is that I am super impressed with Jitterbug Perfumes’ custom blends and high-quality, natural oils. I can’t wait to order more and build myself a completely unique scent library!

Hello my friends! I want to post a review of an up and coming brand called 𝐉𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐮𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐬 by Emily Engdahl. I'm not affiliated in any way nor have I been compensated or given free products to write this review. I'm just a happy customer, that's all. Jitterbug Perfumes are thoughtful fragrances crafted with actual aromachemicals, essential oils, etc. Emily doesn't use stock oils (not that there is anything wrong with the brands that do as I own some of them also!) These beauties are available at an absolutely amazing price...$13.95/10 ML including shipping. And Emily is now offering upgrades to larger sizes on her website which is awesome too! Next thing...the packaging all of this came in was adorable. All kinds of stickers, even a mousepad (I think that's what it is, it's pretty cool looking...I might hang it on my wall, LOL). And last, the extra perfumes Emily included free of charge. I know she's building her brand and I'm sure that providing extras will help her brand grow but the amount of extra fragrances she put in here for my tiny little order was nothing less than EXTREMELY generous. Alright...onto the reviews...These are all EDPs. I purchased 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐧 (per Emily when I asked her, it is based off of Bonbons A La Vanille...not sure if that would be the Kyse fragrance?) Notes: 𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲, 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫, 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐩𝐮𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫...Anyway...whatever it is based off of, IT IS AMAZING Lol. Potent right out of the mailbox. No maceration needed with these. I smell an actual baked good in this. Like a croissant or something like that. Oh my goodness, it's fantastic. It's sweet obviously but not too much. I'm so bad at describing fragrances, I'm at a loss for words here. All I can tell you is that it's unique, I have nothing in my collection like it. If I had to say it smelled like anything, I'd say it has that pastry feel that I get from Mirage Gourmand by Les Nobles Essences. There might be a nutty almond like nuance playing in the background of Bonbon even though not listed in the notes. I could not stop smelling my shirt. And the fragrances are not oily. Not sure how she made that happen but I appreciate it bc I've ruined so many clothes with oil spots! Next three are the ones she sent me free of charge (generous 5 ML sizes!!!) 𝐏𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞. I couldn't find this on her website so I can't tell you what the notes are. However, this smells like its namesake. A delicious PCL! I only get a very mild note of coffee here, it's way in the background which is great for me bc I'm not the biggest fan of coffee notes. PCL is creamy and nutty. Love it! And again, POTENT right out of the mailbox...PCL would be my 2nd fave after Bonbon. Next is 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲'𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (precursor to Emily In Paris) with 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞, 𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐲, 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭, 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭, 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫. This is like Bonbon as it has that bakery nuance. It's not too sweet. Oh I'm so bad at these reviews. It's just REALLY good LOL. I love it. Amazing performance just like the others. And last we have 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐩 with notes of 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲, 𝐬𝐩𝐮𝐧 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐟𝐮𝐳𝐳𝐲 𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐲, 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲, 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫, 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬. This one smells like its namesake. It's PINK! It's tart. I smell pink Smarties with this one. Another POTENT one. I highly recommend this one for anyone who loves frags like Pink Sugar, Jolie, cotton candy-esque frags. These types of frags aren't really my jam but I still give Emily props on this one because it's fantastic!! As all new businesses experience growing pains, I do have to mention that the one bottle leaked a TINY bit but it was clear that she made every effort to try and make sure that didn't happen (electrical tape, etc.). The other 3 were fine. I know that Emily is actively working on a remedy for that and she mentioned in her responding email to me that any tips (about the bottles leaking) would be appreciated!
